Daniel is a value creation and transformation leader, with a focus on PE-backed life science companies. Most recently, Daniel was Vice President of Transformation for Platinum Equity at Peli BioThermal. Previously, he was in the Life Science Division at Pace Analytical, a provider of CDMO services, and a Leonard Green & Partners (LGP) company. At Pace, he was Vice President of Strategic Growth and Corporate Development for the Life Science Division (acquisitions and carve-outs). Previously at Pace, he was the Vice President and P&L owner of the Scientific Professional Services division, leading growth via strategic, commercial, operational, and M&A activities. Prior to joining Pace, Daniel spent 5 years in management consulting for firms such as Deloitte and most recently was a Principal at Oliver Wyman. As a consultant, Daniel focused on mergers and acquisitions, and value creation in the Life Science industry, working across biopharma, medical device, diagnostics, and pharma services (CDMO), for corporate and private equity clients. While in these roles, Daniel worked on dozens of transactions worth over $15B in value, executing activities across the M&A spectrum from M&A strategy, due diligence (CDD/VDD), post-merger integration, to PE portfolio company value creation and sell-side road shows. Prior to consulting, Daniel was a Director at GE Healthcare Life Science (Cytiva), serving as general manager, leading P&L's as well as forming, launching and scaling new businesses and restructuring existing businesses for the company. He was also a GE Experienced Commercial Leadership Program (ECLP) graduate.
