Working in the Additive Manufacturing (AM) Department. The main focus of this department is to help companies to introduce additive manufacturing technologies in their value chain. My responsabilities are:- Manage the polymers additive manufacturing laboratory.- Manage and collaborate in private, national and international projects working closely with other R&D teams and colleagues.- Develop and test new polymeric based materials for a wide range of AM technologies (SLS, SLA, MJF, DLP, FFF,…).- Identify and adjust process parameters for new materials and AM equipment.- Operate and mantain polymer extruders and polymer based AM machines.- Help prepare designed parts to make them compatible for AM technologies using CAD software (SolidWorks and Materialise) and construction preparation software.- Validate manufactured prototypes- Help customers identify their ideal AM technologies and materials to outsource or implement in their facilities.- Train and teach customers about polymeric based additive manufacturing technologies.

Main tasks include:- Ensure the production cost reduction activities that are in alignment with the meltshop strategy and development (Over to 3M€ were saved ruing the 2018 in the steel meltshop).- Analyze all quality related or efficiency problem origin.- Create and renew Standard Operations Procedures (SOP) related to production activities.- Actively contribute and make sure operators in the plant are working safely by doing preventive safety observations (OPS).- Lead benchmarking between the different plants of the group in order to implement the best practices in the rest of the plants.- Deep understanding and report the steel meltshop results to the company to top management.

To perform the task: I was responsible to tests and characterize the materials SEM analysis, thermal and mechanical characterizations.

www.cct.esSummer internship in the R&D Department. The main objectives was the study malayaite ceramicpigments and investigate new formulations to obtain a better quality/price relation. The main taskswere investigate about these pigments, design experiments, create the new pigment and analyze itafter create an enamel. After two months a new recipe was obtained that helped reduce the cost of the pigment by 3%.
