Main activities and responsibilities (but not limited to) were:To supervise ship-construction flow of production especially for Surface Preparation and Coating application but not limited to (refer to New Shipbuilding Projects and Vessels on service >> review of Paint Specifications, working with & under IMO PSPC rules, Cargo Tank Coating monitoring, HULL Structural visual monitor Insp., Claim handling, Underwater Survey etc.<<). Also as Marine Coatings Surveyor working to ensure that marine assets are maintained adequately protected via suitable approved coating programs in compliance to relevant standard requirements; this includes performing and analyzing studies / surveys and tenders as well as site supervision of live projects.• Supervise, Control and Confirm the Quality of Paint Coatings related work Inspection in accordance with applicable International Standards and Projects Specification; Provide specialized support to Vessel Superintendents through the implementation of adequate monitoring program of vessel hull & tank coatings to protect or extend vessel life; Provide reviews on operational and maintenance status of vessel / tank coatings by undertaking / facilitating ship surveys to assess status, necessary repairs, and prolonging life; Liaise with Head Office and other Naval Architects & Marine Engineering in reviewing / establishing company standard for coatings and provide technical expertise as required to new building projects & Vessels in service; Liaise with the Maintenance Group, Marine Superintendents, Paint Maker Inspectors and Classification Societies Inspectors for reviewing job schedules pertaining to ship coatings for every vessel of the fleet and when not existing establish new ones; Work to given schedules for tank coating works / hull management; etc.

My main task is to supervise ship-construction flow of production especially for Surface Preparation and Coating application but not limited to.As Paint/Coatings Engineer I work to ensure that marine assets are maintained, adequately protected via suitable approved coating programs and are in compliance to relevant standard requirements. This includes performing and analyzing studies / surveys and tenders as well as site supervision of live projects. Key Responsibilities: - Provide specialized support to Vessel Superintendents through the implementation of adequate monitoring program of vessel hull & tank coatings to protect or extend vessel life; - Planning, perform and carried out in-process and final inspection; - Suggest in case of failures on achieving the project specifications; -Collaboration with Design Department to carry-off errors from drawings; -Coordinates Paint Coatings related work, mainly for design, surface preparation and paint/coatings application; in block stage, pre-erection stage, and erection Dry-Dock & Quay stage of ships for conformance to plans and specifications; record inspection data; -Distributes production assignments received, to senior foreman per each team. -Responsible for production diagram accomplishment in established terms; -Assures training at employment; -Proposes and follows-up application of increase measures of working productivity; -Responsible for complete application of production capacities, for using in safety conditions and with best efficiency of tools, plants and installations; -Initiates actions for workers mobilization regarding overtime when production schedule accomplishments require this; -Collaboration with senior and junior foreman, for supervise and instruct each worker in order to acquire necessary skills to execute in good conditions of working performance.Establish and review the self-inspection and control procedure; -Operate within standardized engineering policies, processes and systems.
