During my time in the Creative department at Premier PR, I have been able to be involved in producing a great range of projects. This would include both virtual and live productions for award shows, music social promos and EPKs for film an TV, working with clients such as Netflix, Sky and NBC Universal.My experience and knowledge of the industry allows me to ensure that we approach each project appropriately and achieve the task at hand, producing the best quality outcome as possible. The main objective is to make the client feel comfortable and confident that the final product will be more than they original expected.

As Post Production Supervisor it is my daily task to ensure that we as a department remain organised and structured to meet deadlines and deliveries. This involves scheduling the editing team to meet the demands of our clients including the correct specifications requested.Also, this means I am able to amend any incorrect exports in Premiere as well certifying that all deliverables are meeting the highest standard which I can follow up delivering to the client directly.Lastly, although my main role is organising the team, I also have the responsibility to ensure that all documentations required for each individual delivery is made and has the correct information present which varies from timecodes to legal terms.

As an Assistant Producer, I was more involved in the forefront of creating content ranging from cinema featurettes to red carpet social pieces.As well as my Production Assistant duties, I was more involved with budgeting and running jobs such as junkets for IMAX.

Working as a Production Assistant allowed me to get into every situation within an event or a shoot from start to finish. I was able to experience lighting/camera setups for various occasions such as junkets and pieces to camera as well as operating and learning about the equipment.I also was able to assist with the post-production and creating shared spaces to ingest footage for editors to access. I learnt a great deal within the nature of what is needed for the featurettes we were creating ranging from music licensing, gaining cleared assets from distributors and also the necessity meeting the client delivery demands. This gave me knowledge within Adobe software to export files and using delivery services such as Aspera, FTP and streaming links.

As a runner at Premier I get to interact and observe many different departments covering a wide range of content from gaming to film, whilst maintaining a clean and productive working environment. This includes tasks such as replenishing and fixing printers, laminating and binding, preparing drinks for client meetings, and going on sweeps of the entire building to ensure essentials are at their peak. However, along with these in-house duties, I frequently leave the building to conduct runs to destinations around London.

This job entailed working closely with the lighting department where I have created approximately around 150 HDRIs for three different projects. This included the entire process, stitching in Autopano, correcting in Nuke, and testing in Maya before creating a lightrig for the lighters to have access too. I also have some involvement in lighting some shots for a couple of our projects. This included using in house tools, shaders, and using Arnold to get the correct renders to the compositors; beforehand I would create a slapcomp in Nuke to ensure the renders were working. I also gained some Massive knowledge whilst working close with the crowd team, including placement and flow fields, and looking at the brain. It was good insight to actually finding the bridge between crowd and lighting, and understanding that there are some processes such as prepping the models and creating IDs including pObject maps. Also I had the task of culling crowd characters to ensure that intersections were not occurring and removing any agents that were misbehaving.Lastly, I created simple proxy geometry layout for the crowd team to allow them to include terrain for their agents to avoid or interact with to ensure that they are restricted to the area and situation they are in in the shot.

As a runner at Prime Focus, providing service to support the staffs needs, involving maintaining a presentable workplace and enabling the artists to work consistently and efficiently. Also, working in a VFX environment, I gained an insight into the production and the techniques used within the industry that will help in my future career as a VFX artist.
