Greggs is a food on-the-go retailer.I managed a shop team of 17, with two supervisors, two senior team members and thirteen team members. The job is fast paced and demands the highest of standards from the whole team. Greggs as a company is ambitious and forward thinking in a market with many competitors. Targets and shop standards are set by Greggs as a business and as a shop manager it was my responsibility to ensure these are met. I believe consistency is key to any successful management role, as is the 'buy-in' of all team members to that success. I am an honest and open communicator and share freely both successes and areas for improvement. My ambition is to eventually progress and develop beyond the shop manager role into a regional role.
