my main role is to make sure that during the policy year the client and broker are happy with the product and service Aviva International are providing. I work closely with the brokers throughout the policy year but especially at renewal. The duties I’m required to action to secure renewal is to liaising with internal teams to ensure we are issuing a fair premium for the client, issuing and justifying those terms to the broker, negotiating and obtaining discounts if available, before and after market feedback from Aviva International’s competitors.Once the negotiations are complete and the policy has confirmed renewal I ensure that the internal process is run smoothly by our administration team, have the documentation issued and the invoice paid by liaising with the broker.I have had great success since being in this role,

When joining the team I have been working closely with the sales consultants and retention managers(CRM’s) to ensure any new business or retention queries have been dealt with quickly and efficiently, process incoming applications and ensure we have all the relevant information required including mandatory documents needed for the gulf region. Also liaising with the other teams in the department and in Aviva Health to ensure a swift and smooth enrolment for the members and brokers.Being in this role has helped build strong working relationships with the brokers I help look after and understand their needs and requirements. I have had the opportunity to go and meet the brokers I work with and ensure they are happy with the service we are providing and proactively working to improve how we work together.Since being in this role I have won employee of the month. I have also received spotlights from the management in the department and praise from the brokers I support.

Starting my career with Aviva in the International administration team I dealt with all aspects of documentation for the department. This included leading the documents team, training colleagues and implementing new simplified systems to ensure we kept up to date with the work flow coming in to international a growing department within Aviva.
