While working at Visier I had day to day accounts payable and receivable duties. This involved creating and paying of company bills and invoices in additional to regular interaction with clients and vendors regarding financial transactions and fiscal procedures. I was also involved in reviewing the applications for graduate hiring positions which entailed reading all application documents. Afterwards I would perform reference checks before making candidate recommendations to management. One of the more complex tasks I was asked to perform was the creation of an inventory spreadsheet of company fixed assets with acquisition costs, currency conversions, depreciation methods, current asset values and future projections. I was required to manage the database including asset additions and re-evaluations. Incorporating macros ensured the database updated daily giving the ability for management to pull the most up-to-date figures. Other duties included payroll, vacation and expense report auditing.
