I graduated from the University of Roehampton in 2018 with a 2:1 in Primary Education BA (Hons). As additional qualifications, I also trained as an Art & Design subject lead alongside a Drama & Storytelling subject specialism. I have now returned to Roehampton and am a part-time student on the Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy for Children, Adolescents & Families MA.I have experience teaching in both independent and state schools and also provided English education to adults with mental health needs in my previous role; ranging from foundational knowledge up to Functional Skills Level 2 (GCSE A*-C equivalent).I am used to managing large/multiple workloads, have an array of experience in roles of responsibility (please ask me about my responsibilities during the COVID pandemic) and strongly believe in team structures that value and utilise the strengths of each individual. The majority of my class teaching experience has been in a one form-entry Year 3 setting, however I also have experience in Years 1, 2 and 4. Ideally, I am hoping to introduce practices from my MA into my role and would embrace the opportunity to join the upper pay scale in a leadership role.I thrive most when provided creative control over my lesson plans and their sequencing and have experienced the updating and redesigning processes for curriculums of all year groups across the primary age range.
