• Worked with national insurance company to develop and deploy Microsoft’s Enterprise -Full Volume Encryption solution (MBAM) to ensure the project goals of FIPS, HIPAA, and NIST compliance and standards were fully delivered.• Served as Active Directory Domain Services engineer - reviewed, assessed, and modified the design of client’s AD Forest/Domain model of 33,000+ user objects. Performed the upgrade of the Forest from Windows Server 2003 Domain Controllers to Windows Server 2008 R2 Domain Controllers including FSMO role transfers as well as demotions of the Windows Server 2003 Domain Controllers and the raising of the Forest/Domain functional levels to Windows Server 2008 R2.• Served as lead technical architect on the delivery of a [true IT-as-a-Service model] to end users. The solutions centered on Citrix’s XenApp/XenDesktop, Cisco’s UCC blade hardware, VMware’s hypervisor solutions, Appsense’s application/user profile setting virtualization, and Microsoft’s System Center enterprise management solutions. Led the project team related to merging I.T. assets after a company acquisition by a Chicago-based IBM customer. Also performed Network Lead responsibilities including setting up Cisco 2900 series routers, Cisco 3560 switches, and various Cisco VoIP phones in parallel with the acquired companies’ Avaya and Extreme Networks assets and circuits. The project also included the cut-over from the old equipment and PRI and WAN circuits to the new Cisco equipment and circuits. After successfully completing the cutover at their largest site before all other sites in the U.S., I was then asked to go to Philadelphia to help lead, resolve, and complete the Philadelphia cutover.
