As Manager Audit & Assurance, I've successfully developed and delivered the strategic Internal Audit Program at FRNSW, ensuring alignment with FRNSW's obligations and providing expert oversight for the implementation of outcomes from internal business improvement reviews. Collaborating seamlessly with key stakeholders, I've established the Audit & Assurance framework that effectively provides assurance and continual improvement, contributing significantly to improved corporate and operational readiness, effectiveness and safety. My skilled management of research, analyses, and interpretation of complex audit data has not only informed critical decision-making for the Executive Leadership Team but has also facilitated the successful orchestration of findings and recommendations into operational and corporate lessons, policies, protocols, and standards across FRNSW.

As the Quality Assurance Manager at NSW Police Force – Southern Region Command from April 2019 to November 2021, I provided high-quality advice and reporting on risk management and quality assurance services, implementing the Command Management Framework, Internal Audit and Continual Improvement Program reviews. I played a central role in fostering collaboration, improving project management, and business continuity plans. I also received recognition through the completion of the 2020/2021 Influencer program and being awarded a Commissioner’s Commendation for exemplary commitment during the 2019/20 bushfires and COVID-19 response.

As a Contract Auditor at the Department of Family & Community Services – Land and Housing Corporation, I successfully managed and performed audits, asset inspections, and risk assessments, playing a pivotal role in enhancing operational efficiency and compliance. I also actively contributed to the development of the organisation as Chair of the Young Professional Network.

I led and completed a 100% planned internal audit at Roads and Maritime Services, excelling as the Quality Officer, where we achieved zero non-conformances in adherence to ISO/IEC 17025 and AS/NZS 9001 Standards, contributed to continual improvement, and successfully ensured assurance of the Service Provider contracts, enhancing the capacity of the Camera Enforcement programs.
