Managed a maintenance group with a budget of 1.4M per year and was consistently below budget for the last 3 years. Led a group of maintenance that was composed of mechanics and electricians to complete work orders and both emergency maintenance and preventative maintenance for the entire site. Participated in Pre-start up safety reviews and process hazard analysis. During my time the team achieved >98% equipment uptime for the entire site. Work order completion was >95%; Maintenance was an integralpart of Process Safety Management by changing relief valves and associated devices on the due date of the item. Provided site controls engineering support for both breakdowns and projects. Was part of a team to implement a $20M project for several new products for the site, as well as other projects up to $1M. I was the site leader in spare parts and have increased the inventory from $400K to $1M by selecting critical spares need for continued operations to keep the 98% uptime. Established step by step procedures on how those critical spares were to be installed and trained maintenance on a yearly basis. Maintenance training required by the company was at a 300% completion percentage, nearly 3 times any other department.
