At present I'm working as an Engineering Geologist on the HS2 rail project overseeing RC drilling activities.I have a diversified background having worked for First Quantum Minerals as a Resource and Production Geologist. Over two years for Golder Associates as an Environmental Geologist and a similar amount of time as a freelance geologist working on the geological characterisation of the Olympics Park project in Stratford, London, as well as a number of smaller construction projects around the UK.Having studied at the Camborne School of Mines, graduating in 2011 with an MSc in Mining Geology, I then worked for First Quantum Minerals as a Production Geologist. Initially I was employed as a Resource Geologist, working on a diamond drilling programme at the Kansanshi Mine in Zambia where I was responsible for the planning and implementation of a diamond drilling programme to further increase the resource and genetic understanding of a satellite deposit known as the South-East Dome. In June 2013 I joined the Production Team where, working in close interaction with planning and design, engineering and metallurgy, we implemented the efficient and optimised mining of the Kansanshi resource.
