Twelve month contract to assist in the implementation of a legislative compliance project related to Contractors that require employee-related considerations such as superannuation and tax. The project had two distinct parts: one to develop an online form to assist in the assessment of a contractor engagement, and one to modify the PeopleSoft HR / Payroll system to store Contractor data and enable payments to Contractors via the standard payroll process.

Project-managing a team of three and reporting to the National IT Manager. Responsible for the implementation of a SAP-based payroll system to cater to a workforce of 1,000. Responsibilities included: Project scheduling, Budget tracking and projection, Task and resource prioritisation, Communication with all levels of the business.

Managing an experienced team of three and reporting to the Managing Director. Responsible for the implementation, integration, support, documentation and user training for company-wide systems software including: Payroll, Accounts payable invoice processing and approval, Service job assignment and management, Enterprise Resource Planning, and Human Resources.

Seconded to the Human Resources Department to provide assistance and expertise for the implementation of a replacement HR system, SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central, and on-going training and support post-implementation.Duties included:- Data extraction and cleansing- Process mapping- Change management- Communication- Training documentation- End user training- Troubleshooting and support

Support of purchasing and sales processes within the Baan ERP system, including training users, creating documentation, and resolving more complex “integration” issues between separate modules of the system. Also annual audits of processes and system controls throughout most departments of the company, requiring cooperation with and coordination of employees and management staff.

Member of a five person team that replaced a 19 year old terminal-based system with a modern Windows-based Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012.- Responsible for all aspects of the hardware and software infrastructure supporting the new ERP software including setup, configuration, backup, disaster recovery and performance monitoring.- Managed a team of three people over a six month period performing the data cleansing of 90,000 inventory items.- Project lead for user security methodology and testing.- Project lead for the Production and Projects modules of the ERP system.- Responsibility for the business acceptance of the solution.- Consultative member of the steering committee contributing to decisions regarding business transformation; restructuring, centralisation, and consistency.

Over ten years, this role expanded significantly, alongside both the growth of the company and the increasing pace of the advancement of information technology.This role encompassed:- Network administration of a Wide Area Network spanning seventeen branches Australia-wide- Server administration covering various Operating Systems including UNIX, Windows, Linux, and FreeBSD- Interviewing, hiring, training and supervision of three additional IT Administrators- Annual presentation of IT status and future IT strategies to management- Monthly and Annual Accounting close-off processes- Cheque and payroll signatory.
