I have worked in Customer Service, Sales, Loss Prevention, for approximately 20 years. For about 10 years as a Supervisor over several different departments. for approximately 7 years I have been in Loss Prevention. I learned a wide array of skills working in retail. After approximately 7 years of being a supervisor, as well as an area manager for Kohl's, I wanted to pursue a career in Safety/Security. In 5/2015 I began going to school to start my Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice. I graduated in 3/2017 with a 3.84 GPA. After I graduated I began to work at Lowe's as a Loss Prevention Safety Specialist. I worked in that position till 1/2019 and my position was cut due to company restructuring. After that I stayed in Loss Prevention as an undercover floor-walker, investigator, and supervisor.over the course of my time I have gained skills and knowledge from every place I worked. Knowledge of investigations of external/internal theft or dishonest behavior, Shrink-prevention strategies, I was a AP/LP trainer, learned different safety protocols such as, Workman's Comp, OSHA standards, HAZMAT. I have gained a lot of knowledge based on the business side of AP/LP and learned how to understand financials (Profits/Losses reports, Par Billing shipments, and Audit paperwork). I look to further my career in Asset Protection and Loss Prevention and with the skills and knowledge I have gained. I look to help a company grow, sustain, and evolve in the changing landscape of AP/LP.
