I worked in the Szymczak Lab in the Chemistry department, under Prof. Nathaniel K. Szymczak. My work focused on synthesizing a series of group 6 metal hydrides, and preparation of borazine and borazine derivatives. The work also included rudimentary web-design, HTML, and laboratory indexing.

As a summer intern in the corrosion prevention department, my time was mostly spent data-basing research comparing different coatings used for electrical connectors for ground based vehicles used by the Army. I was also responsible for coordinating the movement of materials for testing by contractors, and making presentations regarding the scientific basis.
