Rescue Services Manager
CurrentThe Manager Rescue Services has the primary function of managing Confined Spaces within Ausgrid and the delivery of services associated with these spaces. This involves the effective and efficient delivery of work whilst ensuring quality, reliability, safety, environmental sensitivity, and customer satisfaction is maintained.• Manage and supervise the allocation of resources to ensure delivery of services to safety, time, cost andquality targets through efficient use of contracted services, plant, material and labour, includingmanagement of fatigue, overtime, on call and leave.• Develop and execute procedures and processes in the management of contracts to deliver efficient deliveryof work while maintaining quality, reliability, safety and customer satisfaction.• Develop and implement commercially focused change management strategies and processes thatcontinuously improve to provide the excellent delivery of services.• Initiate, plan, manage and successfully deliver projects to achieve their goals on time and on budget.• Coordination of resources for emergency response for network events, including but not limited to storm orbreakdown response, as required.• Management of the function’s compliance with all Ausgrid Safety and statutory rules, policies and proceduresthrough regular safety interactions, audits and inspections, ensuring the implementation of correctiveactions, as required.• Carry out investigations of safety incidents and administer corrective or disciplinary actions, where required.• Identify and/or implement improvements in work practices and systems to increase the effectiveness andefficiency of the organisation.• Develop and maintain the teams safety culture with a focus on continuous improvement, includingimplementing corporate safety improvements.• Accountable for internal and external stakeholder management including resolving complex customerenquiries, complaints and feedback related to the work group’s activities.
