Current To set the group finance strategy and objectives of the Finance function and the Bank To provide financial leadership and decision support to the CEO and EXCO including evaluation of potential alliances acquisitions and/or mergers and investments. To maintain the integrity of the group’s financial information To manage and review shareholder and other stakeholder reporting. To implement financial policies; and procedures; and controls and ensure compliance to international financial reporting standards (IFRS, IAS). To manage the budgeting and planning process. To conserve organization’s resources To ensure Tax compliance To monitor capital, liquidity and Balance sheet management To monitor the performance of subsidiary and associate companies of the Bank to ensure they are aligned to the overall Group financial objectives. To manage key relationships with the following stakeholders:o Regulatory institutions dealing with the Bank such as the Central Bank; Competition and Fair Trading Commission; Public Private Partnership Commission, etc.o Tax Revenue Authorityo External Auditorso Internal Auditorso Group relationships - subsidiaries and parent companyo Insurance providers and key suppliers To provide a leading role in coaching and developing the Finance team
