Operations Manager
• Plan, organize, and oversee the day-to-day, onsite operations, providing technical and operational leadership; delegate tasks and communicate priorities, lending a hand when needed.• Ensure all production schedule deadlines are met; raise concerns early and identify and resolve open issues that prevent progress.• Manage the space and equipment. Ensure all equipment is functioning properly, and that the equipment usage and space are maximized for efficiency. Troubleshoot any printer issues and coordinate needed repairs with vendors.• Manage and ensure adequate inventory is on-hand when needed.• Exercise strong customer service skills to resolve customer incidents; investigate and resolve problems related to customer service or vendor performance.• Identify process improvement or cost saving opportunities and provide specific documentation regarding problem identification and possible solutions.• Provide monthly financials to the corporate Finance team including invoices, accounts payable approvals and inventory counts.• Work with Director to ensure forecast, profitability and growth targets are met; develop annual forecast.• Responsible for the selection and evaluation of staff; training and employee development; determining the most effective use of resources.• During busy periods, function as an Operator on the production floor, helping the team.
