• Rebuilt pumps (e.g., centrifugal, positive displacement, boiler feed water, ARO air-operated double diaphragm, Gorman-Rupp 10 series self-priming centrifugal).
• Provided mechanical maintenance support by answering questions from onsite and field workers on a wide range of issues of varying scope and complexity.
• Replaced presses, bearings, gearboxes, shafts, sprockets, pulleys, chains, belts, motors, hydraulic cylinders, pumps (i.e., water, overhaul), and other mechanical components.

• Responsibilities:
• Conducted systematic preventive maintenance activities to ensure machines and systems performed as intended, prevent major malfunctions, and reduce costly repairs.
• Trained and mentored upwards of 20 new employees on machine, production, quality, and safety standards.
• Enforced OSHA regulations of hazardous materials, equipment (e.g., mechanical crane and hoist systems, ropes, chains, straps), and conditions that could cause fires or accidents.
• Oversaw computer operating system for hydraulics, motors, pumps, electronics, and a cooker that identified when things needed replacing, repairing, or upgrading.
• Cleaned equipment, greased moving parts, changed gearbox fluids, modified the operating environment of machines, and replaced parts such as packing shaft seals on cookers and pumps.
