Manage all aspects of the parts department at a high volume location of the nation’s largest family owned RV dealership; purchasing inventory for the store daily, controlling inventory, managing staffing issues, and ensuring that the store is clean and organized.Manage an accurate inventory so auto order system works correctly. Ensure the correct products are in the store depending on the season. Obtain parts quickly for customers, service department, and sales department.Responsible for processing order requisitions from service technicians in a short time period. Identify replacement parts using parts breakdowns with model and serial number information provided by technician. Strong attention to detail: verify accurate part descriptions, prices, and quantities when creating purchase orders.Assist customers finding the parts and accessories that they require using detailed parts breakdowns, vendor catalogs, or contacting the RV manufacturers directly.Handle a wide variety of transactions on the cash register. Every part, service, and RV sales transactions are run through the parts counter. Accountable for processing high dollar transactions accurately and balancing all monies received at the end of the day.
