After finishing my International Diploma in France, aged 15, I built a charity for terminally ill children. Every week, our small group of 14 to 16-year-olds would contrive some way of making someone else's life better. I learnt to see the beauty in people and it gave me the courage to travel the world alone, where I would meet wonderful people and different cultures. I realised I needed to return to education to discover how to make more of a positive impact. I graduated from the University of Birmingham, securing myself a B.Sc. Mathematics degree. since then, Shannon and I have been setting up Tutors for Life as we share a passion for learning and teaching others.
