  Primary Purpose of Job: Independently: The position is responsible for coordinating and managing all Community Education Centers (CEC) property and casualty claims and related functions assigned to the Corporate Risk & Safety Management department. The position reports to the Corporate Director, Risk & Safety Management. Principal Duties & Responsibilities:1. Collects, aggregates, displays and summarizes data relevant to all CEC property and casualty claims including but not limited to; workers compensation, property and auto liability. a. Manage all facets of the company’s worker compensation claims system, collect and investigate information regarding auto liability/property and worker’s compensation claims, keep continual contact with our insurance carrier from inception through claim fruition, manage and reconciled property damage claims, oversee the light duty program, update loss run for worker’s compensation and auto accident and other duties assigned, determined methods to close old claims in order to minimize large loss development, develop and deliver training programs to field personnel to support the WC and Auto Liability claims management programs, reconciled claims payments and providing CEC vendors’ remittance to the Claim Adjuster, request claimant’s financial summary and treatment evaluation from claim adjuster, subrogate and recover losses from third party (claims below our deductible).
