Daniel co-advised the final project of two undergraduate students at the faculty of Biomedical Engineering at the Technion. The aim of the project was to implement an ultrasonic method for measuring temperature changes on the brain, non-invasively. This supportive technique may potentially accelerate the implementation of Focused Ultrasound therapies on the brain (therapies for Brain Cancer, Essential Tremor and etc).

As a complementary part of his Ph.D. studies, Daniel worked at BCF - Bioimaging Core Facility of the Technion Institute of Technology in Haifa. Daniel's responsibilities are related to performing a wide array of experiments and analysis for different in-vivo imaging techniques such as MRI, Ultrasound, micro-CT, IVIS and more.
