I am working in the intersection between Biomedical Engineering and human diseases. During my Ph.D., I investigated the combination of focused ultrasound and biomaterials for treating cancer, in a collaborative project between the Technion Institute of Technology and Harvard Medical School. I obtained my BSc. in Electrical Engineering (cum laude) at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, MSc. and my Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering at the Biomedical Engineering Department of the Technion, in collaboration with Harvard Medical School. I am passionate about improving human health by developing innovative therapies.
