• Manage the Category Sourcing team with 6 subordinates for Proprietary Commodity (incl. Casting, Steel Fabrication & Forging) in China. Responsible for sourcing strategy, supplier selection, contract negotiation, manage overall supplier KPI and supplier relationship.• Set up the sourcing strategy to meet the business needs with phase-wise plan in long term.• Improve supplier management system. Establish supplier QDCF assessment (scorecard), supplier segmentation, and supplier business review. Link supplier quality and delivery performance to above that driving supplier improvement significantly.• Link supplier quality and delivery performance to QDCF assessment, Supplier Segmentation that Improve the supplier delivery and quality performance significantly.• Improve the supplier base with in-depth supplier assessment, clear supplier segmentation and development plan aligned with Supplier Quality team. Develop strategic / preferred or high potential supplier for each subcategory, source two new suppliers, and reduce the number of active suppliers.• Cost reduction at -10% in 2015, plus plan in 2016 by volume consolidation to strategic / preferred suppliers, CBD analysis & negotiation, and design & manufacturing optimization cooperating with SQ & PDC.• Lead 6 Sigma project in improving the supplier delivery performance for Jiading site systematically driving cross-functional teamwork. Improve the OTD, delivery LT, and reduce production interruption significantly.• Standardize the process of tooling amortization, improve RFQ template, and establish instruction on Price Approval Sheet. Establish supplier financial assessment on suppliers in China to manage the risk proactively in organized way.• Develop the way of working for Proprietary Category.
