I have been working in the energy industry since 2016, as well as a year before that before taking a personal break. Within Robin Hood Energy I have experienced, for at least a short period of time, most of the business starting in the front line contact centre then quickly transitioning to the email and social media team as a defacto manager of that area.Following this I began my work as a senior agent which allowed me to grow my profile within the business and help build my skills with training new staff. I was able to have a hand in recruitment, training, rota creation, disciplinary procedures and high level complaint resolution among other things. I was able to work in an environment where I was often taught new things and able to develop as well as working with key stakeholders within the business.Currently I work in the SMETS 2 department, working on the roll out and making sure our customers are given the best possible experience in their journey. I've been lucky enough to attend meetings and forums with others from across the industry which has allowed me to have great personal and professional development, whilst also allowing me to build my knowledge of the complex technical processes within the energy industry.Following the closure of the business I moved to E.On Next as a SME Credit Specialist. Within 9 months I was promoted to a SME Credit Team Leader a role which I am currently enjoying and constantly developing.
