The following are examples of my key responsibilities and projects that I worked on:• Performing energy assessments, including heat loss calculations to evaluate suitable cost saving measures. • Presenting cost saving measures to prospective clients, highlighting the estimated return on investment.• Design of renewable energy systems in line with building regulations, accreditation body guidelines and the client’s individual requirements and budgets. Technologies included heat pumps, photovoltaics, solar hot water, BlueGen and MVHR. • Sizing plant and the associated equipment including heat emitters and pipe diameters. • Project management tasks including arranging the schedule of works, sourcing skilled labour and carrying out risk assessments.• Producing technical drawings, installation diagrams and floor plans using AutoCAD.• Design and 3D modelling of an accredited pre-plumbed hot water cylinder.• Quantifying and specifying materials and equipment.• Liaising with OEM’s such as Mitsubishi Electric on matters relating to equipment service, performance and monitoring. • Business development throughout the UK.• Responding to tender and quotation requests.• Providing after sales technical support to the end user.• Updating operations and documentation in line with accreditation body’s codes of practice. • Developing performance estimation tools in order to speed up the working process.
