I was born in 1965 and lives just outside Stockholm. There I share a house with my fiancé, four motorcycles and three cars.I took my M.Sc. in 1994 at LuTH and then worked a few years in Gothenburg as a design engineer at Volvo Trucks and Buses (consultant at the firm Sigma). The work consisted mostly of 3-D modeling and drawing generation, mainly design of intake before the turbo, and exhaust after the turbo.1997 I started at Royal Dutch Shell Swedish affiliate. I worked at the head office and my role was “Product Special Automotive Fuels”. My main task was to be the technological 'bridge' between the refineries and development centers technical experts and the sales departments as well as the end customers. I arranged fuel and environmental educations and had technical discussions with Shell's development centers and supervised some field trials.In August 2000, I started working for the Saab engine development center in Södertälje. There I added engine oil responsibility to the fuel expert role and working "global" became the norm. I was active in engine development projects, supporting with calibration fuels and worked with market-oriented issues. I was a member of GM's global fuels and lubricants team, a team with huge amounts of experience and knowledge. I was responsible for engine oil quality requirements and service intervals of three engine families.In 2008 AVL bought Saab / GM's engine development department in Södertälje. At AVL I have continued to work in my role as a fuel and lubricant experts. At AVL I have gone deeper into the fuels and lubricants field, but at the same time broadened my horizon by adding combustion into my work scope.My current responsibilities, technical expert for fuels and lubricants, is an area that I really passionate about.The area allows me to combine my interest in energy and its use, environment, and my passion for engines, vehicles and mechanical engineering in general.
