I am in the United States Air Force and have been serving for 20 years. When I came into the military my primary job was the inspection of parachutes, sewing and floatation equipment. After I became a supervisor my job focus changed to a variety of different programs. I was an Additional Duty Unit Training Manager for 6 years where I monitor the training for 100 members, 2 systems and conducted monthly briefings with the Commander. In addition, I have 10 years of experience as a Government Purchase Card holder and an Approving Official where I secured purchases for a variety of different resources, transactions logs and using websites. Additionally, I was Quality Assurance for 4 work centers and 20 personnel where I updated required documents, inspection data bases and conducted monthly inspections. Also, I was a facility manager where I accomplished monthly spot inspections and inputted work orders into an electronic data system. Finally, I was the Unit Safety Rep for 200 members, 25 facilities, and 9 work centers where I accomplished monthly spot inspections, managed the high risk program, job safety, personnel safety forms and motorcycle safety program.
