• Presiding over the introduction of new Stiefel range products to the market in a timely manner, ensuring the safety, quality and efficacy of said products on site • Gaining vital experience operating in key departments i.e. Production, QA and QC, whilst assisting in the introduction of new raw materials to the site• Facilitating the transfer of products, processes and test methods from other sites within the GSK network, as well as troubleshooting any customer complaints• Designing and implementing innovative measures to enhance efficiency and reduce costs, providing vital support in the aim to reach a zero accident, waste and defect rate• Spearheading various projects, such as the launch of 5ml sachet size baby lotion in the UK, coordinating with suppliers to bolster the process• Providing vital support in the plan to transfer production of liquid based products to a simpler process equipment within in-line units to improve bath cycle times, capacity and energy consumption • Carrying out raw material and finished product quality testing for trial work and for investigation samples. Testing includes microscopy, rheology, IR, HPLC, viscosity, pH, density and physical stability.
