Daniel joined the Value Based Health Care team at Aneurin Bevan uHB in September 2017 when the Programme was still maturing. He provides overall programme management and advice to all key stakeholders of the Value Based Health Care Programme in Aneurin Bevan University Health Board and also represents the Health Board at various National forums. He works directly to the Associate Director for Value and Assistant Medical Directors for Value at ABuHB and is responsible for ensuring that the programme is managed and delivered through recognised project and programme management methodologies and ensures that governance arrangements to support the programme are in place. He is a qualified practitioner of MSP (Managing Successful Programmes), PRINCE2 and ITIL (IT Service Management). Daniel has worked in the NHS and public sector in Wales for 15 years and has vast experience of implementing large scale change and improvement programmes across many aspects of the health care system, more latterly before being responsible for managing the successful delivery of two large scale European programmes; CareWell and MasterMind. He has studied Business Information Technology at the University of Wales Newport and has a digital and technology background. He has experience in design, development and implementation of digital enablers and technology at a local, European and national scale.
