I came aboard QEP one year before the acquisition by Tesoro Corporation, where I over saw and led a seven man team of technicians through daily operations of measurement found in our gas gathering and processing business. Our business includes several customers for custody transfer measurement locations including various aspects of measurement for gas and liquid interests. We operate primarily in the Northeastern area of Utah also known as the Uintah Basin but also include additional areas in Eastern Colorado and South West Wyoming.

I worked as a Measurement Technician for just over seven years at Anadarko. My responsibilities included, installing and maintaining measurement equipment and analytical devices. I was the first technician to receive and help initiate the PGC's within the company. I was also in the role as the plant measurement technician. Those duties were, gas and liquid chromatography, gas and liquid measurement, H2S and H2O analyzers, start-up, calibration, and installing various types of flow meters and nalyzers including Thermo AutoPilots, AutoMates, AutoPilot Pro's, ABB Totalflow, ROC's, Spectra Sensors, Danalizers, Agilent and various transmitters and helping get them on the HMI, Cygnet network and into FlowCal. I had the opportunity to utilize the various flow computers and analyzers that we used to function in ways that many have not had the experience with doing.

I started in this position as a contract lease operator, which later turned into being hired on to the company. In this position, I was responsible for operating and maintaining anywhere from fifty to seventy well with their respective facilities. I would also optimize the production utilizing the flow computers and their capabilities with the artificial lift systems. I was also responsible for keeping up and maintaining the separators and their respective equipment to help minimize down time and provide valuable results.
