Since July 2023 I am managing the social media account (X, formerly Twitter) of the EU Democracy Reform Observatory, which is a project of inter alia the Bertelsmann Foundation and European Policy Centre. The Reform Observatory social media account is the go to resource on X for being informed about reform initiatives, developments or discussions on EU democracy.

I am part of the Service Centre, our main goal is to support doctoral candidates at Heidelberg University throughout their studies. This begins at the application phase, includes finding a supervisor, managing potential roadblocks and successfully submitting their thesis. Additionally, I am in responsible for the research proposal support service, in which I help doctoral candidates draft and finalize their exposé.

Since October 2020 I am teaching at the University of Tübingen introductory courses in scienctific methods. In this course I teach first semester and advanced students how to write a scientific paper, develop a research proposal, the basic tenets of scientific methodoligies and theories, as well as the main ontological schools of thought in political science.

Doctoral researcher and lecturer at the Karl Eberhard University Tübingen. My research focus is the democratization of the European Union. I especially focus on the complexity of the EU multi-level system and how to strenghten its democratic legitimacy, by integrating a) its multiple levels (EU, national, subnational) and b) different forms of democracy (representative, direct-democratic and deliberativ). My main goals is to devise a holistic approach for the democratization of the EU multi-level system.

The network brings together scientists and civil society actors from across the EU. Our aim is to work on institutional reform measures to democratize the European Union (e.g. Parliamentarization, European Citizens' Initiative, European Citizens Panels, Citizens Committees) and inform the policy debate with our input. In this vein we work together with stakeholders and political actors on the EU level.

As a member of the management team, I was co-responsible for the entire operative business. This included organising large demonstrations and general meetings; organising events, workshops and lectures; PR and lobbying work in the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg; organising the ECI campaign in Baden-Württemberg; advising citizens' initiatives; managing the citizens' petition database (organisation/University of Marburg & Wuppertal) and social media; writing background articles.

As part of the project, I was responsible for the conception and realisation of a city walking tour that provided information about the global interconnections of economic production cycles. The aim of the project was to show the effects of one's own consumption so that the participants could better reflect on their own consumptive behaviour. The participating groups were usually school classes (from general secondary school to high school).

Search Engine Optimisation freelance work for Appen Butler Hill: My task was to evaluate the search results of a major online search engine based on a detailed set of criteria (e.g. relevance, quality, user intent) in order to improve computer-assisted algorithms.

Within the scope of the internship, I supported the management of the writing project "HD Ink! - Ideas on Paper" project with research work and organisational tasks. My responsibilities included fundraising efforts, organising and conceptualising events and workshops, and looking after school children with a migrant background in need of educational support.

Professional service work in reputable establishments such as the BASF Gesellschaftshaus and the Heidelberg Castle. During this time, I gained valuable experience in event management, banqueting and customer service. With more experience I was oftentimes deployed as a team leader for up to five people.
