Electrical Commissioning Engineer

Electrical System Handled• Low and medium voltage motors including MCC.• Switchgear (Air Circuit Breaker, Vacuum Contactor, Vacuum Circuit Breaker)• Station service power transformer and tie up breaker.• 500KV switchyard (SF6 gas circuit breaker, current and voltage transformer, surge arrester)• Static Frequency Converter for Gas turbine generator• Generator Excitation System• GT & ST 125VDC battery and battery charger system• UPS (Rectifier, Inverter and regulating transformer)• Motor Operated Valve (AUMA and Limitorque)• Emergency Diesel Generator • Lighting, power, HVAC and FDAS system• Main and Auxiliary Transformers• Hoist and Cranes• Water treatment plant motors

• Supervises subcontractors for the delegated maintenance activities on low to medium voltage motors during major and minor plan shutdown up to commissioning period.• Supervises subcontractors for the delegated maintenance activities on switchgear equipment (air circuit breaker, vacuum circuit breaker and vacuum contactor) during major and minor plan shutdown up to commissioning period.• Performs preventive maintenance and condition monitoring of all electrical equipment to ensure reliability of the systems and correct immediately identified faults from low, medium, and high voltage systems.• Prepare technical documents such as root cause analysis (RCA) report, maintenance report evaluation and modification reports.• Performs commissioning of electrical equipment and evaluate test results.• Prepare materials and consumables needed for scheduled major and minor plant shutdown.• Work out ordering of materials needed for electrical system normalization from request for quotation, purchase requisition, purchase order and payment.• Prepare work order, trouble memo and purchase requisition using SAP software.• Perform troubleshooting from low, medium, and high voltage electrical equipment and provide immediate solution and reports if needed.• Modify and build new design for each electrical system.
