Development of motion control systems for mobile machines and conversion projects

Responsible for internal R&D within Hydrauvision and providing technical assistance to sales on technical issues and engineering for dynamic motion analysis of closed loop hydraulic systems. Carried out several simulation studies for:- Flywheel storage systems- Secondary controlled drive system based on A4VSG- Stability analysis of drive system for larger waterway bridgesEngineering and sales support for controls and hydraulic system design of:- Motion compensated pile grippers- Heave compensated winches- Climbing crane- Milling drives- Danfoss E-mobility Control software for motion control system with Bachmann, Siemens and B&R PLC's.

- Functional design of hydraulic systems- Support of sales for tenders of electrical and hydraulic drive systems.- Sizing and system design of electrical drive systems(VFD, motors etc)- Programming of drives(Telemecanique, Siemens, Vacon)- Programming of PLC's (Bachmann, ABB, Siemens)- Simulation of hydraulic systems and controls in Matlab Simulink- Commisioning worldwide of closed loop hydraulic control systems- Solving complex service issues in the field of hydraulics, electronics and PLC (software)Project experience from concept design to commisioning on-site of :Active heave compensation, traction winches, electrical winches, riser pull-in and offloading systems in Atex environment, CT and position control of hydraulic winches and linear drives.

Vibration measurement and problem solving on electrical machines in house or on-site.

Hardware development / testing of Smartmonitor measurement system. Design calculations for winch systems. Optimization / simulation in Matlab / Simulink of speed and tension control for hydraulic closed loop wire line winches.
