Facilities Management: - Oversee daily operations of all campus facilities including academic buildings, residence halls, administrative offices, and recreational areas. - Develop and implement maintenance programs to ensure the reliability and longevity of all facilities. - Manage and coordinate all building and grounds maintenance, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and custodial services.- Leadership and Team Management: - Lead and mentor the facilities management team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. - Conduct regular performance reviews and provide professional development opportunities for team members.- Project Management: - Plan and oversee campus construction, renovation, and capital improvement projects. - Ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. - Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.- Budget Management: - Develop and manage the facilities department budget. - Monitor expenses and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality or safety.- Compliance and Safety: - Ensure all facilities comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including health and safety standards. - Develop and implement emergency response plans and safety protocols. - Conduct regular safety inspections and address any deficiencies promptly.- Sustainability Initiatives: - Promote and implement sustainable practices in facility operations and maintenance. - Identify opportunities for energy efficiency and waste reduction across campus.
