As a Security Officer I was responsible for providing safety and security services involving me into regular interactions with patients, visitors, caregivers and clinicians in highly diverse and complex situations. Interactions with local law enforcement to provide information were common; clarifying of events and coordinating emergency protocols were frequent.Given the highly versatile environment arising situation often required fast adaptation and prioritizing of actions. Creating a safe atmosphere for patients, visitors, caregivers and clinicians were of highest priority.

As a general laborer at a lumber mill I pulled, sorted, and stacked lumber in a fast-paced environment. I also assisted the lumber mill supervisor with assigned tasks and coordinated co-workers on their assignments. This also included training in safety and equipment operations of new employees.

My main tasks during my career in the US-Army artillery was the preparation of howitzers for direct and indirect fire; this included assisting in the training, welfare, health, and discipline of up to five soldiers. In addition I supervised the handling, transportation, accountability, and distribution of ammunition and oversaw the operation, loading, and maintenance of a Field Artillery Ammunition Supply Vehicle (FAASV). I also assisted the section chief in the supervision of howitzer operations and maintenance.
