I manage and operate all classroom technologies for the Medical College of Wisconsin - Green Bay. This includes videoconferencing equipment, AMX video routing systems, projectors, monitors and any other tech brought into the classroom. While working with vendors and team members on the Media Services, Desktop Support, Network, and Server teams, I make sure everything is running smooth for our Green Bay campus.I work with external vendors and internal teams on expansion projects as well. As our campus is housed at St. Norbert College, I continue to maintain a strong working relationship with SNC's teams, our vendors and our internal teams at MCW. This is critically important during construction planning and execution in order to meet deadlines required by the campus.I also act as tier 1 support for my fellow staff in our office and for students. This ranges from anything related to staff workstations to a student or faculty member's personal phone or laptop. I then work with the tier 2 and 3 support if an issue progresses to that point.I love engaging in the many new challenges my work presents as I engage with both my fellow MCW-Green Bay staff members and all those that help me support them.

Greater Milwaukee Area

I was the administrator for our enterprise solution for scheduling on campus. This gave me the opportunity to reach out to other departments and help them in the processes of migrating and managing their rooms and resources from within the system. It also allowed me to find new ways to improve current processes on campus. I've been able to lead projects to link our academic curricular scheduling program to the enterprise solution to provide faculty with one point of access for their courses. I'm also involved in the planning of other future considerations for technology improvements on campus. The committees I am part of reach out to different vendors, determining their technological fit with existing and future resources at MCW. We also score each solution on their financial aspects. We then weigh the options based on their benefits vs. cost. These solutions have included audience response systems, video/audio capture solutions, student owned mobile device options, and secure testing solutions. I also assist educators on campus with their technological and presentation needs. I work before the presentation with the presenter to determine if any component of their presentation materials may fail, and offer solutions as needed. I am present during presentations until the presenter is confident. I also provide any recorded material after the presentation is over.

Greater Milwaukee Area; Lake Geneva Wisconsin

I worked as an Audiovisual Technician at both the Hilton City Center and the Grand Geneva Resort. I set up and ran boards for lights, audio and video sends, and operated cameras when the equipment was needed. I provided any technical support required during the event as well.

I worked as the head of the AV department at WLC until a new director was chosen. Beyond my normal duties as tech, I took on the additional challenges of hiring and training the new student employees that year as well as coordinating with the student team leaders on preparations for the start of the school year. I also checked/fixed all classroom AV technology on campus before the school year started. Finally, built a Green Screen room in the Library as requested by the President's Office. It is now utilized to produce monthly updates that come from the President of the College as well as produce professional grade interviews detailing the college's past and current personnel.
