A prestigious hotel with many accolades. I got my start in the hospitality industry with this company and was with them for 8 years. I've worked in all front of the house food and beverage departments and made myself a very valuable asset to the company. I started off as a Bus person in the fine dining establishment. Responsibilities include working fast and efficiently to clear and set up tables while simultaneously assisting servers and food runners to help make sure complete guest satisfaction. Within 1 year I was food running. Responsibilities include making sure all food from the kitchen or back service area was fresh and organized for the server. Less than one year I was picking up server shifts in the sports bar of the resort as well as room service. Soon after I was promoted to server lead in the fine dining department while simultaneously picking up shifts as a bartender in the sports bar, lobby lounge, and poolside departments. Responsibilities as a server differed slightly between departments but all shared a common goal of complete guest satisfaction. Responsibilities as bar tender include the mixing of cocktails according to the exact specifications of the guest while recommending and up selling house cocktails as well as beer and wine. I was very well respected among my peers and was employee of the month on several occasions.
