(a) Supervises TOC operations and enforces all TOC SOPs.(b) Responsible for training the enlisted personnel in TOC operations.(c) Ensures proper distribution of reports and messages through out the TOC.(d) Supervise and ensure the slice elements maintains operation map and combat status charts.(e) Supervises maintenance and administration of the TOC in conjunction with the OIC/SGM.(f) Ensures all TOC vehicles, radios, and generators are serviced and maintained properly.(g) Supervises TOC personnel in set-up/tear-down upon displacement.(h) Ensures all slice element NCOs maintains operational journal (1594) analog or digital.(i) Coordinates CL I, III, IV, and V support for the TAC.(j) Coordinates with company XO for maintenance support.(k) Establish and post shift schedule.(l) Inspect section fighting positions/range cards.(m) Coordinate section's logistical package (LOGPAC) / resupply.(n) Inspect and enforce performance of common tasks, preventative, maintenance check and services (PMCS), and hygiene.(o) Inspect and enforce readiness condition (REDCON) and mission oriented protective posture (MOPP) levels.(p) Coordinate local security and ensure it is accomplished during each shift. Maintain personnel andequipment accountability and status.(q) Track Requests For Information (RFI) and maintain accountability of TOC documents.(r) Ensures the battle NCO/slice element NCOs post locations of friendly units and enemy contacts. (s) Briefs the SGM/S-3/XO on current maintenance status of equipment.(t) Assist in the Military Decision Making Progress.(u) Rehearse Immediate Actions with all slice elements.(v) Establishes and maintains the TOC and Briefing/Planning area.(w) Prepare area for rehearsals. Coordinate rehearsals, ensures sand table equipment is accounted for and supervises setting up terrain board.(x) Pacific Command (PACOM) briefings. Responsible for setup, control, and administrative support.(y) Ensures all communications are operational.

Review all incoming OPORD, WARNO, and Taskers for taskings to the command, and input into theOPORD and Admin Tasker matrices for tracking; coordinate w/ higher HQ on current orders and status, and coordinate w/ Comand Group and staff for all staff suspenses . Write, review, and publish OPORD, WARNO, and FRAGO to downtrace units. Manage and coordinate current operations processes and procedures. Process Requests For Information to and from higher headquarters and downtrace.The BDE Orders manager will also prepare formal reports for higher headquarters, supervise the TOC personnelin their duties, and ensure completion of TOC security, maintenance, communications, police, and administration.The Orders manager will maintain unit and higher HQ SOPs, current OPLAN, OPORD, and FRAGO issues by the unit and his higher headquarters. Current battle executionaides, i.e, synchronization matrices, execution checklists, execution matrices, OPSCHEDs, common operating picture (COP) and etc., to track current operations.Works directly for the battle captain and SGM/NCOIC.Supervise the RTOs (IAW RTO duties as listed in the SOP).Ensuring reports and messages are distributed properly.Updating Unit Statuses on maps and charts.Supervise the publication of orders and graphics, the setting up and dismantling of the TOC, all enlistedpersonnel assigned to the S3 section.Manages staff, sleep plans, and shift schedules.Assists in Developing and War gaming during the Military Development Movement Plan.Enforce TOC Rules.Supervise Frequency Changes.Manage the information flow process.Maintain and file staff journalsReports all critical information to higher hqsMaintains and updates all friendly, enemy, and graphic control measures.Controls the information flow within the TOC.
