Responsibilities include:• Insuring the integrity of the data in the HRIS system through regular scheduled edits and testing procedures• Providing high quality customer service on HR, benefit, and payroll related information• Leading an initiative to create an automated process of producing accurate, fully loaded, labor costs using an accumulation of benefits and payroll data. • Providing corporate system support and answer inquiries from HR, Payroll, Staff, Vendors, Agencies, etc. • Developing and maintaining instructional material related to for US based HR and Payroll • Presenting system and process trainings for US based HR Representatives and Managers. • Preparing complex reports for employee data contained in the HRIS in response to requests from users and management• Assisting users in the creation of queries and reports to select and compile information from the HRIS system as needed• Developing documentation, policies, user manuals, and other training materials of systems for users• Leading the specifications, development and implementation of new or redesigned systems, reports, and procedures• Defining requirements, testing, and implementation of data interfaces including input/output control procedures and error resolution• Acting Security Administrator of HRIS systems responsible for assigning and auditing of security access• Consulting with members of HR, Payroll, Compensation, Benefits, Tax, and other departments to evaluate needs and provide solutions

• Reviewed applications for new hires, conducted phone screen interviews, assessed candidates for open positions• Conducted background checks and reference checks• Tracked and managed employee work status including active and leave of absence employee’s • Managed training records for current employees to ensure compliance with Detroit Wayne County Mental Health Authority and Michigan Department of Health and Human Services• Assisted with new hire orientation and on-boarding efforts by implementing a system to track employee needs regarding new-hire/ reoccurring trainings, personnel documents (license, SSC, etc.), benefits, etc.

Facilitated the hiring process by assessing candidate profiles, conducting interviews, reviewing background checks, calling references, and approving candidates that met organizational standards. Assisted with the on-boarding process by giving company tours and acting as a point of contact for new team members. All done while working in a high pace, team environment .
