• Support active business development evaluations and negotiations led by Global Business Development and the Center for External Innovation• Build complex and dynamic financial models to value potential deal targets (companies, assets, licenses etc.) up to $5B+ in value• Research potential deal targets by reviewing public filings (SEC, etc.) or other competitive intelligence sources• Help deal team understand financial aspects of proposed deal terms and structures (accounting, cash flows, valuation, etc.)• Update GBD leadership on deal status and support internal reporting; prepare materials to support internal governance submissions that lead to deal approval prior to signing

The Financial Leadership Program (FLP) provides aspiring finance and accounting professionals with a range of unique experiences in corporate accounting and finance to help shape them into future business leaders. Over the course of the three-year program, accounting and finance professionals develop their careers through a series of two 6-month and two 1-year rotations designed to challenge them to quickly adapt and add value to each position. The cross-functional knowledge and breadth of experience associates gain enable them to pursue numerous career opportunities within Takeda. Through formal training and on-the-job experiences, the FLP is committed to developing associates’ financial, leadership and teamwork skills while exposing them to Takeda's technologies, product lines and global markets.

Media Logic is a strategic marketing partner of choice for leading global, national and regional organizations in financial services, healthcare and technology industries. My responsibilities include Business Development and Marketing for current clients and start-ups.Working with the Business Development team, activities include data scrubbing, presentation preparation, financial services and healthcare market analysis, and business outreach. Projects also include the UP17 App, a Media Logic start-up company that helps young baseball players understand that everything starts with the fundamentals – basic skills, best gained through personal instruction. Activities include strategy, recommendations, and data analysis to improve the business model.
