Oversees agency response to all state legislation impacting public health in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts

 Responsibilities include drafting legislation, organizing committee hearings, meeting with lobbyists and advocates, briefing the committee chairman and other legislators on public health legislation and the policy environment. Additional responsibilities include supervision of three staff researchers and three legislative aides; preparing chairman’s talking points, and overseeing the committee’s schedule.
