“The last great ticketing innovation hasn’t been discovered yet, and never will be!”“You don’t have to be first, an early adopter, but you probably shouldn’t be last either.”I believe in the future and evolution of live entertainment ticketing and the need to stay abreast of it all. In 2008, I founded FutureTix, a consulting company in the United States that specializes in consulting on ticketing practices and technologies for arenas, sports teams, universities, cultural institutions, and other entertainment attractions. FutureTix works with venues and vendors to identify creative solutions to maximize efficiency, revenue and patron satisfaction. We recognized the need for someone to help organizations, both venues and vendors, to stay well-informed regarding the latest trends, determine which ones are right for them, and to create a roadmap to bring them to fruition.I have served as a speaker at many industry conferences and have also hosted the annual FutureTix Ticketing Symposium offering a one-day educational event to live entertainment professionals. As a longtime member of INTIX I have served as a Board Member, and a member of the Standards and Ethics Committee, as Chair of the Certification Task Force, and I am the recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award.I am blessed to be a part of a professional community whose tireless efforts put smiles on people’s faces and one that creates lifelong memories for fans who just want to spend a little time in their happy place.
