It Support Technician
CurrentEveryday IT Support Tasks:- IT Support to whole workforce- Supporting sister companies- Office 365 support- Proclaim Legal support- One Drive link sharing and support, in particular full case exports and providing secure encryption- Creating documentation bundles in Adobe Acrobat- Supporting Ring Central issues- Liaising with 3rd party vendors- Supporting remote connection issues- Supporting internal software automation- Email automation and ensuring autonomy- Daily Windows server maintenance and updates- Troubleshooting server problems- Weekly server checks- Migrating users to RDS remote setup- Hyper-V management, creation of new virtual servers and user VM's- Daily reports to management- Internal recruitment to the IT support and Development teams- Setting up new starter equipment- Following Agile methodology- Office 365 administration including:InTune Joining users to the domain and managing software,Azure to manage accountsSetting up new employeesAmending employee detailsAdding and removing licensesExchange rulesMessage tracingQuarantining email as part of SecurityWhite listing and black listing email/ domain- Resolving issues with email automationAdditional Technical Tasks and Projects:- IT onboarding, training all new employees in Software and tools. - Full training to new IT support employees- Internal IT recruitment, IT technicians and developers- Migration of all users to new domain and server in an RDS environment. - Jira administrator workflow designer- Creating scheduled tasks on servers- Server setup using RAID 10- Developing simple batch scripts- Creating training documents- Creating training plan for new employees- Creating training videos
