I was trained as a chemical engineer and worked for many years in that role before pivoting to a role more related to technology and design of system infrastructure as related to data analytics. I've conducted quantitative risk analysis (QRA) studies as well as consequence analysis studies and siting studies for refinery units, gas pipeline systems, chemical facilities, and LNG import/export facilities. I'm experienced at modeling releases from facilities to determine impacts from flammable vapor clouds, torch fires, pool fires, explosions, and toxic infiltrations. I'm experienced with process hazard analysis (PHA) e.g. HAZOP, HAZID, LOPA, and SIL studies. I have operations and research experience from performing synthesis and functionalization of carbon nanotubes. I'm adept in programming and developing software models for things such as vapor dispersion, heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and flow optimization.
