I am going on 2 years with Dortronics Systems in Sag Harbor, NY as a Sales Engineer. I graduated from Polytechnique Montreal with a Research Master's (M.A.Sc.) in Electrical Engineering in 2022, studying channel codes - in particular LDPC decoding. Our work was chosen for publication in the 17th Canadian Workshop on Information Theory (CWIT), June 2022. I also have a Bachelor's degree from McGill, also in electrical engineering. I was a member of the McGill Robotics team. I was also formerly the Executive in charge of Curriculum in the Global Engineering venture for Engineers Without Borders McGill. I have a wider variety of interests, including news writing, photography, boxing and cooking. Since graduating, I've been doing my best to continue learning in subjects such as Digital Signal Processing and gain experience in software by brushing up on Python, Java, C++, VHDL and more!In the past, I've worked jobs as a cashier for East Hampton Gourmet and as a "jack-of-all trades" (writing, photography, organization, note-keeping & editing) at Dan's Papers - a hometown paper headquartered in Southampton, NY.I'm a Kaggler: https://www.kaggle.com/danieldermont
