Throughout my college career, I have pursued opportunities which have challenged my abilities to solve problems and perform as a leader. During my Co-Op I worked as a certified Grade I ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician at GeoStructures Inc. in King of Prussia, PA. At this position I was responsible for communicating effectively with professionals daily on construction sites as well as assuring that work was being done as per the required job site specifications. As a senior, I am currently working with a team of 5 other mechanical engineering students on the design and fabrication of a flapping wing micro air vehicle (MAV). The successful completion of this project will see our mechanical prototype generating enough lift to propel itself off of the ground. Additionally, through the Bonner Leadership Scholarship I volunteer at Lifewerks Food Pantry for 300 hours every scholastic year. At Lifewerks I have worked to become the service site leader and have co-created a program serving ~40 food insecure students and community members outside of the pantry every other week. I am a motivated student leader who strives to become a better engineer and I am looking for a job that challenges me to push for excellence.
