Mixing live music for hundreds of people, Communicating with Music Artists, Giving feedback to Musicians, and Programming lighting were the main tasks that came with this role. Over the course of the summer I had the opportunity to work with three different bands which taught me how to work with different styles of artists. I worked in three different roles, the first was as a Broadcast Engineer. We used Protools to mix and master the live streams for the Sunday service that was broadcast live on youtube. I am comfortable with the workflow in Protools due to my experience mixing in this DAW. The second was mixing FOH on Sunday mornings for their main services, and on Sunday nights for youth. The last role was mixing the musicians In-Ear monitors.
