In 2012 I set out to hike the 2,665 miles from Mexico to Canada on the Pacific Crest Trail using a backpack I had sewn myself. 101 days, & 3 US states later I walked into Canada. Through those 5 million steps, I understood the power of the products we use in our everyday life. In 2014 I founded my company, Luto Vhum, with the founding principles that Human connection is our greatest resource and that the products we use are expressions of who we are.After walking the entrepreneurship path since 2014 I am more sure than ever that creativity and human connection is our most potent path forward in business and culture. Our current way of understanding products and business is chalked up to ‘That’s Just the Way it is”. The truth? We can do better. I am thrilled to serve Green River students in building entrepreneurial skills while tapping into the human reasons we make products and companies. My goal is to see more businesses founded by Green River College students.
