This is a my family run business, I was responsible for greeting all customers, taking orders, making sure everything ran smoothly, training staff,stock control and all ordering for food and alcohol, organizing events, daily cash control including reconciliation at close of business.

This was a temporary position. Responsible for the pastry section with in a large and very busy kitchen that serves several events daily, very fast paced environment that delivers the highest quality of food and pastries. This was a temporary job while awaiting my residence visa for Canada.

My duties were to oversee the daily running of the bar, stock control, ordering, all aspects relating to staff, daily cash control including reconciliation at close of business. I was in sole charge of the event suite where we held parties, receptions, seminars, running and overseeing the fine dining restaurant attached to the establishment.

Many of my clients were mainland European so this entailed visiting regional offices on a regular basis. Mandated to acquire and develop new clients. Liaised on a daily basis with other desks in the company on trades. Reported to Head of Credit

High Grade Corporate Bonds Desk (Euros).Bringing experience and new clients to a new broking desk. The initial team at Tradition was small by industry standards so my varied experience was of great use. In addition to providing full broking function to my own institutional clients, I helped build a new trading and trade-reporting platform, maintained the desk’s trade archives, P&L system and performed other administrative functions as required. Reported to the Head of High Grade Credit Bonds.

High Grade Corporate bond Desk.(Euros)Providing broking functions to a growing client list. Completing daily reports of desk brokerage. Co-ordinating all trade records and entering tickets into the in-house trade booking system. Dealing with all trade queries. Informing the whole desk of all new issue activity as it developed on Bloomberg and other information systems. I also maintained my client base as a junior broker that I had developed. Reported to the Head of High Grade Corporate Bonds.
